APA Manual

The new 6th edition of the APA Manual will help you verify correct formatting for your reference list and in-text citations.

Quick APA Formatting

Cite function in CINAHL

In your search results list, click the title of the article you want to cite.  Next, click the Cite icon  located in the far right column. A Citation Format screen will then pop up with examples of how that article reference should appear according to a variety of styles, including APA.  Highlight the reference, and copy and paste it into your paper.

IMPORTANT! Please use these citation tools cautiously and be sure to check for accuracy by consulting the original APA guidelines.
