Welcome!  This Guide is intended to bring together in one place a variety of resources that would be useful to students, faculty, and staff in the Pharmacy Practice department.  This includes students on the PharmD and BSPS tracks, and all divisions (clinical, pharmaceutics, or pharmacy health care administration). 

Each of the tabs contains a wealth of resources:

  • Library Research - information about identifying, locating, and obtaining books and articles.
  • Student Texts & Tools - includes online textbooks, multimedia supplements and lectures, sources of medical images, and tools for medical calculations, interpreting dianostic tests, and vocabulary.
  • Drug Information - Primarily of interest to clinical faculty and PharmD students, you can access database of drug monographs, drug interactions, government website (FDA & NLM), and information on herbs and supplements.
  • Best Practices & Law - Evidence-based practice, treatment & practice guides, preventing medication errors, and information on pharmacy law and legislation.
  • Pharmacy as a Profession - Pharmacy organizations, licensure exam preparation, and career development resources.
  • News - Information feeds from pharmacy news sources.
