QR Codes: What are they and how do I use them?

At Mulford, you may have noticed some funny looking black and white images posted around the library!  These are QR codes and you can scan them with your mobile device to connect you to relevant library information. 

QR (Quick Response) Codes work a lot like barcodes.  They can be scanned by your mobile device to link you to information, including URLs, text, images and other types of data.

In order to scan QR codes, you will need to use your mobile device's camera along with a QR reader application.  If your mobile device does not already have a QR reader, there are many apps that you can download for free (see the far right column "QR Readers").
