Please select below to see a listing of new materials added to the Libraries collections in the past year.   Note: in order to process and catalog books once they are received, there is a slight delay before the books are available on the shelf. The list includes the new acquisitions in Carlson, Mulford, and McMaster Engineering Libraries.

Library catalogs typically list all of the items available from a particular library or group of libraries, regardless of format: books, magazines, videos, etc. are all included. Many catalogs can also tell you whether the item can be checked out and whether it is currently available. 

In the UT Library Catalog, all formats are included, as well as all campus locations (all Carlson collections, including the Canaday Center, the Mulford Health Science Library, the LaValley Law Library, Engineering Library, St. Vincent's Medical Center, Book Depository, and Internet resources).  Note: the library at the Center for Visual Arts at the Toledo Museum of Art has a separate catalog.

Electronic Books are included in the UT Library Catalog; you can find them by limiting your search to the Location: Internet.  Many of the e-book collections can be searched separately.  See the Electronic Books page for major collections we have access to.

You can also see books from the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library's Popular Collection which are available for checkout at UT libraries.  The selection in this collection varies as the public library sends us new books.

Materials listed as "AVAILABLE" can be requested and delivered to UT (or any other library in the system). This catalog can also be searched from the UT Library Catalog by clicking on the "Search OhioLINK" button.

They tend to have more popular fiction and general interest books that the UT Libraries.  A current selection of popular titles from the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library is available at UT's Carlson and Mulford libraries for checkout. UT students can obtain a free public library card by showing proof of residence in Toledo/Lucas County.

The nearest branches to UT Main Campus are the Sanger Branch and the Reynolds Corners Branch, while the Toledo Heights and Heatherdowns branches are closest to the Health Science Campus.
