FILM 3360, Production Topics, is a course that focuses on various topics in film or video production, including (but not limited to) animation, sound, lighting and editing.
A Production Topics course focusing on the use of the Optical Printer to create manual special effects using 16mm or 8mm film. A historical selection of films relevant to the subject are screened. Students are also taught how to use the Animation Stand to create physical effects and title sequences.
