OhioLINK has open-access (OA) publishing agreements with a number of publishers. This allows UToledo-affiliated authors to publish open access articles without paying Article Processing Charges (APCs). Please note:

• Not every journal or every type of article published by each publisher is covered under the agreement, not even every OA journal. Check the links in the sidebar below for more details.
• These agreements cover only a certain number of articles waivers per calendar year, and we share them with other OhioLINK institutions. If a publisher's APC waivers have run out for the year, we will remove that publisher from this list until waivers are available. (Waiver quotas are refreshed on January 1.)

Click on a title to go to the journal's homepage, or click on Additional Info to see the publisher, what types of OA articles are covered, and when the current agreement for the journal ends.

Instructions: Search by keywords in the title or topic, and you may use an asterisk to find all forms of a word; for example searching biochem* will find biochemistry, biochemie, biochemical, etc.
