Northwest Ohio Regional Book Depository: Home

This guide provides an overview of the Northwest Ohio Regional Book Depository and describes how to retrieve materials stored there.

Overview

The Northwest Ohio Regional Book Depository is a high-density off-campus storage facility that is shared by The University of Toledo Libraries and Bowling Green State University Libraries. It is part of the BGSU at Levis Commons building in Perrysburg, Ohio, and one of five regional depositories across the state.

Items sent to the Depository are typically low-use and older but still deemed appropriate for permanent retention. UToledo currently has about 292,000 items at the "Depo," including books, theses, dissertations, journal volumes, government documents, media items, and archival materials.

Records for these items are in the OhioLINK Library Catalog and, in some cases, the UToledo Libraries Catalog as well. Most of these Depository items can be requested online for delivery, pickup, and checkout at a campus library. See boxes in center column below for more details on retrieving Depository materials.
