Welcome back! Mulford reopens today!

Mulford Health Science Library has reopened!   Here's what you need to know:

• Facemasks are required in the library (and the Mulford Cafe).
• Wash your hands regularly.
• Chairs and computers have been removed to allow for appropriate social distancing:  two per large study table diagonally, one per small study table, alternating chairs at the variable-height work spaces. Do not sit where there are blue Xs on the study tables.
• Small group study rooms on the fifth floor are now single-person only; conference rooms are not available.
• Soft seating has been rearranged for appropriate social distancing. Please do not sit where there is blue tape.
• Currently, the sixth floor south is closed due to facilities work.
• There are bottles of sanitizer the fourth and fifth floors (more are coming). Please clean your workspace when you are done so that it is sanitized for the next person.
• It is safe to fill your water bottle with the refiller on the fifth floor, but do not drink directly from the drinking fountains.
• We are not currently lending laptops, headphones, phone chargers, dry erase markers/erasers, the skeleton, or bone and skull boxes.
• You can check out books; they will be quarantined and/or heat processed before they will be made available for use.

Mulford's summer hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, closed Saturday and Sunday. The Mulford Cafe in the basement of the building, is open for quiet study 24/7. Please maintain appropriate social distancing in the cafe by keeping the furniture where it is. (PS - Despite its name, the Cafe isn't actually a cafe. The closest places to get food are the coffee cart and the cafeteria on the first floor of the hospital.)
