NURS 3030: Evidence-Based Practice in Nursing

STEP 4a: Add Research Articles to Folder

You are required to find a minimum of 8 articles, however you are strongly encouraged to find more. The articles that you find will be used in your EBP Team's overall pool of evidence in later assignments. The more articles you find, the more options your team will have later.

  • Selected articles must be research studies. See types of research studies below.
  • There are no publication date requirements, however it is recommended to start with the current best available evidence and work your way down. You can sort your results by Date Newest (located under Relevance).
  • To identify research studies, carefully examine the title and abstract of articles for descriptions of study design (an example is provided in your assignment). Explore the full-text of the article to verify whether it is a research study or not. When in doubt, ask your Nursing Librarian.
  • To store individual research articles to your Folder, click the blue folder  or Add to Folder option next to each article you want to save.
