OhioLINK is embarking upon an agreement with Cambridge University Press (CUP) with two major benefits for students and faculty at institutions of higher education in Ohio. Quick Eligibility Checklist for no-charge APC coverage
Corresponding author affiliation: The corresponding author must be affiliated with an OhioLINK participating institution at the time of article acceptance and should use their institutional email address when submitting.
Publication timeframe: Articles must be accepted for publication between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2027 to qualify for the current three-year agreement.
Eligible article types: Only specific research outputs qualify, including research articles, review articles, rapid communications, brief reports, and case reports. Ineligible types include book reviews, editorials, letters, book chapters, and proceedings.
Journal coverage: Articles can be published in any of Cambridge's fully open access or hybrid open access journals (over 400 journals total), with no limit on the number of articles published under the agreement.
Librarians can assist with information about these agreements, but in order to qualify for waived APCs, it is the corresponding author's responsibility to ensure that all criteria are met, including cohort eligibility. See checklist at the top of this guide.
