The National Transportation Library (NTL) was established to provide national and international access to transportation information, coordinate information creation and dissemination, and provide reference services for DOT employees and stakeholders.
NTL collects across transportation, specifically focused on information from US DOT, state DOTs, and other transportation organizations. Content types include text, links to websites, datasets, images, video, other multimedia, and maps. Includes approximately 55,000 records.
The TPCB program is designed to help decision makers, transportation officials, and staff resolve the increasingly complex issues they face when addressing transportation needs in their communities. This comprehensive program for training, technical assistance, and support targets State, local, regional, and Tribal governments, transit operators, and community leaders.
