Articles in Nursing Journals
Not every nursing journal will have "nursing" or "nurse" in the title. Scanning database search results for articles published in journals with only "nursing" or "nurse" in the title is not an efficient or accurate identification method.
Therefore, in order to efficiently locate articles published in nursing journals, one method is to use the filter for Nursing Journals in the CINAHL database.
Articles Written by Nurses
Nurses can publish their research anywhere, not just in nursing journals. To find articles written by nurses, use the First Author is Nurse or Any Author is Nurse limits in CINAHL.
