Beginning January 1, 2023 and running through December 31, 2025, at no extra cost the University of Toledo Libraries will gain full text access to an additional 22 Institute of Physics (IOP) journals including journals from the Electrochemical Society (ECS). As an additional benefit of this OhioLINK IOP subscription upgrade, during this same period, University of Toledo faculty/students/staff will be able to publish an unlimited number of articles as open access in both fully open access and hybrid IOP journals without incurring Article Publication Charges (APCs) for themselves or the institution. For eligibility, articles must be accepted for publication by IOP between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2025 and the corresponding author must name an OhioLINK member institution (i.e. The University of Toledo) in their institutional affiliation. It is important to note that the American Astronomical Society (AAS) publishes under a separate AAS Open Access model and so AAS journals are not included in this Institute of Physics (IOP) Read & Publish agreement.
