FAQ: Can I Access the Libraries Electronic Resources While Off Campus?

by Clare Keating on 2020-03-21T14:00:00-04:00 | 0 Comments

Yes! The majority of our electronic resources are licensed and set up for off-campus access for current UToledo faculty, students, and staff. Active UTAD credentials are generally needed for logging into the subscription resources provided by the University Libraries.

Our list of available databases with access links, descriptions, and use restrictions can be found at: https://carlson.utoledo.edu/search/y

For accessing specific journal titles, access links for individual journals are provided within the University Libraries online catalog at https://utmost.cl.utoledo.edu/search. Additionally, utilizing the “Journals” tab search on the library’s webpage https://www.utoledo.edu/library/ to search by title will also result in access links to full-text issues for online browsing, etc.

For Google Scholar users, please adjust your Library Links under “Settings” to include the collections “University of Toledo – Find It @ UToledo” and “UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO LIBRARIES -ProQuest Fulltext” which will activate “FindIt@UT” buttons within the GScholar interface for easier access from results to subscribed full-text content.

Please feel free to email eresources@utoledo.edu with further questions about these resources.
