The Libraries’ (more-or-less) final resource cancellation numbers are in for fiscal year 20/21: $400,750 in subscriptions were cancelled, including 29 e-journals, 1 e-journal collection, 9 streaming media products, and 26 databases. Click here to see a complete list of cancelled titles. These cuts were necessitated by a substantial reduction in the Libraries’ electronic resources budget due to the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the University.
On a positive note, OhioLINK was able to add five new resources at the beginning of calendar year 2021, thanks to a one-time award of $2.5 million from the Governor's Emergency Education Relief (GEER) program. These new resources are all accessible to University of Toledo users (or will be pending final set-up arrangements) and include: InfoBase Films on Demand, JoVE Core Science Videos, MIT Press Direct, SAGE Business Cases, and Wiley Cochrane Library.
